Tucson Polymer Clay Guild (TPCG)

Once a month, the second Saturday of every month, a group of ladies (and sometimes a gentleman or two) meet at Craycroft Towers (Craycroft & Lee, just South of Pima St), from 1:00 to 3:00pm. We have demos of techniques some of us have learned, find out about new ways to play with our clay, share tips and tricks we have found out the hard way, and generally spend a couple of hours with others of a like mind, who like creating something out of a block of clay (or two). Our President, Barbara Sosna, keeps things moving with her vast knowledge from attending classes and retreats all over the country, as well as years of experimenting on her own. She is fond of telling us about how she accidentally found polymer clay during her years of "exile" in Texas. She praises Tory Hughes as the Goddess of Polymer Clay, and after our classes with Tory last year, we now know why!

I hope to be able to post some of our work, and other tidbits of information regarding our guild here - please feel free to follow along while I go through the learning experience of blogging.
